Why Classic?
Classic Builders was founded 25 years ago in the Bay of Plenty by directors Matt Lagerberg and Peter Cooney. We’re now the third largest builder in NZ, building more than 700 homes every year for Kiwis all over the country. Sitting under the umbrella of Classic Group, which includes best in class commercial, development, and technology companies, we directly employee 130+ staff across nine regions, and contract work to more than 130 building companies just like yours.
Today our grassroot values remain as strong as ever. Everything we do is geared towards the simple purpose of helping Kiwis realise their dream to own their own home. We’re always moving forward, always with a client-first mindset. We work collaboratively at pace, together with our staff, suppliers, and network of partners, to make big things happen.
